The strain is described as having medium-sized flowers with dense frosty buds that feature dark highlights of purple, green and orange. In terms of flavour and aroma, Sugarbud’s website describes it as a combination of citrus fruit and creamy fuel with subtle undertones of floral. Not bad, but the brand’s description of their own product always sounds wonderful.
Product Description
Smell
The product arrived in a small rounded black glass container with security top. The package presentation was nice, but this was our first encounter with Sugarbud so we had no clue what awaited inside. We popped off the lid and were hit with a very strong aroma of earthy citrus, pine, floral and definitely a mild undercurrent of creamy fuel. Overall a pretty close match to the description.
Appearance
The look of these buds was definitely impressive. Very compact and dense bright green leaves, including some with dark green tips with specks of purple. The buds appear almost mashed together with evenly spaced orange hairs and finished with a sugary trichome layer. Plus, you can tell these plants were well maintained and the trim job is almost perfect.
Flavour
With some other strains, we’ve found the pine and fuel flavours can be so strong that they come across as harsh. But in terms of Sugarbud’s Krypto Chronic #2 that is not the case. The flavour is enjoyable and surprisingly smooth given the fact there was no moisture shield included. The products description of creamy is accurate. We found the smoke to be not overpowering in the slightest.
Experience
Sugarbud’s Krypto Chronic #2 had a great smell, flavour, appearance and delivered on the experience too. The body effect is strong with our eyes feeling a bit heavy like we were wearing a cap even though we were not. The mental side of things is also strong enough to make you feel sluggish. Overall a very strong balanced high with not much to complain about except the price being $49.99 is pretty close to black market. However if you’re looking for a creamy smoke with a balanced buzz then this product is one to check out.
